We would like to encourage each of you to come out and enjoy the many events held by the Cherokee Club. Our club holds both Enduro and Hare Scrambles events. News Note:
A new transponder will be available for use in scoring at the upcoming National event. Please see the announcement at the link below. Old style transponders will not work.
So we have reached our 500 rider limit within the first 4 or 5 hours of the pre-entry site being opened. So if your still interested in getting into the event you will have to show up and get on a waiting list for any entries not picked up at signup by 8:30 AM the morning of the race.
News Note:
We will have 3 Gas Stops at the Cherokee this year!! The AMA rule for Nationals is 33 miles between each stop and there is just no way we can do that without having 3 Stops. The first gas will be approx. 31 miles from the start. 2nd gas will be about 12 miles from the first gas and the 3rd will be around 20 to 25 miles from the 2nd then to finish will be alittle over 23 miles for Pro and A riders and about 10 miles for cut off classes. Also ALL cutoff classes will ride 5 sections unless we have bad weather. The first section is only 3 miles long.
